For our Fall , our teams will have the exclusive option of playing at Lasorda Legacy Park (formerly known as Baseball Heaven) or at fields throughout the Towns of Islip, Riverhead and Brookhaven.
Fall LEAGUE REGISTRATION
  • Scorekeepers will be at all Fall League games to ensure accurate and timely player statistics. Scorekeeper fees are included in the league fee - teams will not be asked to pay them at the field.
  • Umpire fees are $55 per doubleheader.
  • Registration includes softballs, scorebook and USSSA team registration.
  • All teams are required to have a full set of bases, unless playing exclusively at Lasorda Park.
  • Legacy Softball awards an unparalleled package of Championship Gear (trophies, tshirts, hoodies) and access to our Annual Awards Dinner for all Division Winners.
  • Fall Season will start in early September.

The majority of the weeknight divisions are considered "recreational". If you are a new or returning upper level or tournament team - please call us before registering - as many of the divisions listed above will not be an option for your team. A few select divisions will be available.

A $250 deposit is required to secure a spot for your team. Once your registration is fully accepted, you will receive a welcome email with all the upcoming season details and information on the manager meeting where you can pick up softballs. Full payment is due no later than Week 2 of the season.

REMINDER

No team registration is considered complete and official until a $250 deposit is received by the league. This applies to NEW and RETURNING teams. Many divisions are likely to sell out so please make sure to get your deposit in as soon as possible in order to guarantee your spot in the division (day/time) that your team most prefers.

registration deadlines

Legacy Softball does not have a specific cut off date for team registrations. Instead, each division remains open until such time that it reaches capacity amongst teams that have officially registered and given a deposit. 
Some divisions will sell out quickly, and others are likely to remain available until shortly before the season begins. As such, it is important that you register your team as early as possible in order to ensure that you get the day and time you choose.

    ​Legacy does its best to group teams by competition level whenever we can.  While we can't guarantee 100 % parity, we will do our best to place your team in the appropriate level.  We also reserve the right to adjust levels once play starts and we get a better idea of how individual teams compare.
    Please review the following and confirm your acceptance and agreement by clicking "I AGREE" to each statement and hitting submit below.  In agreeing to the below statements, you confirm your acceptance of all of the terms and conditions listed, and the rules and regulations published and adopted by Legacy Softball.  This acceptance and agreement shall enter into effect from the date of your submission, and will remain in force until and unless specifically revoked by Legacy Softball, or superseded by a new agreement.
